Mason Hines

Mason is a Facilitator with the D.C.-based organization RESOLVE, a nonprofit that specializes in designing and managing collaborative processes to solve critical environmental, health, and development problems. At RESOLVE, Mason focuses primarily on health issues, and on the myriad intersecting social issues that affect health, including food access, employment, housing, and education. Prior to joining RESOLVE, Mason worked as an ombudsman, a mediator, and spent several years in early childhood education. Before all that, Mason attended Ho’āla School in Wahiawa, HI, a pioneer of the Awakening Wisdom approach. The learning and growth Mason experienced there as a middle and high schooler profoundly influenced his career choice and the way he interacts with others every day.
